Heart Careers Show
November 2009
On 16th September and 30th September Impact Recruitment sponsored Heart’s Career Shows. This was following the very successful sponsorship of Heart’s Million Pound Job Campaign (which actually achieved in excess of £2m jobs advertised).
The aim of the careers show was to assist people with careers advice, offer new job opportunities and help with CV’s.
The number of visitors across both events was in excess of 1200 with Northampton particularly busy all day.
As the sponsor of the event we were given the main stand in which to display our vacancies and leaflets covering topics such as interview preparation, interview questions and answers and improving individual CV’s. Impacts team over the two days took nearly 400 people’s details which were all contacted and a large percentage invited to our offices at a later date for an interview.
As at todays date, Impact have placed four people in permanent jobs and a further three into long term temporary placements.
The event as a brand awareness exercise and to increase our database of candidates that we can place into jobs proved to be so successful that we are already signed up to be the main sponsor of Hearts Northampton Career Show in March 2010.
